ELECTORAL MANAGEMENT BOARD FOR SCOTLAND STRATEGIC PLAN: 2027/28-2031/32
As required by legislation, the EMB has submitted its Strategic Plan ) for the period 2027/28-2031/32 to the Scottish Parliament Corporate Body.
The Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Act 2025 requires the Board formally to plan how it will perform its functions and subsequently to report on actions to achieve the plan. A least 6 months before the start of a 5-year period, the Board must submit to the Parliamentary corporation a strategic plan setting out, for that 5-year period: the Board’s strategic and policy priorities relating to its functions; how it proposes to achieve them; timetables for doing so; and estimates of the costs of doing so.
